Working in Northern Kentucky
What junk removal in Northern Kentucky actually involves
Northern Kentucky is two different places on either side of I-75. Along the river, Covington is nineteenth-century row houses, brick shotguns and narrow streets in MainStrasse and Licking Riverside, with steep stairs, tiny back yards and parking that is never outside the door. Out in Boone County, Burlington and the towns around it are newer subdivisions with attached garages, big basements and wide driveways. We work all of it, and we quote the two very differently because the labor is different.
Kenton and Campbell Counties along the river have dense, older housing and a lot of rentals, while Boone County has grown fast with newer subdivisions around the airport. The river cities bring walk-up and rental cleanouts; the suburbs bring garage, basement and move-out jobs.

What actually changes the job here
-
Covington row houses and street parking
In the river cities, the truck is usually parked up the block and every item is carried out the front door and down the street. Narrow stairs and tight turns mean big pieces get taken apart. Tell us about parking and stairs when you send photos, and the quote will account for the carry.
-
Burlington and Boone County subdivisions
Newer Boone County homes have attached garages and wide driveways, so we can back right up to the door. A garage or basement clear-out out here is usually quicker per load than the same volume in Covington.
-
Across the bridge
Getting to Northern Kentucky means crossing the Ohio River, and bridge traffic can add time at the wrong hour. We plan around it, and if timing matters for your job — a closing or a lease end — tell us so we can book a start that avoids the worst of it.
-
Rentals and walk-up apartments
The older river neighborhoods have lots of rental units and walk-ups. Landlords do not need to meet us — send photos and access details, we confirm the price by phone or text, and we let you know when the unit is clear.

What it costs in Northern Kentucky
Northern Kentucky pricing, same as everywhere else we go
Northern Kentucky is priced on the same load-size table as our Ohio jobs — the space your items take in the truck, from $125 to $725 for a full load. In Covington and the river cities, street parking and stairs add labor; in Boone County, driveways usually keep it down. It is about 40 to 45 minutes from our shop, so a travel fee may apply, and it will be in your quote up front.
-
Minimum
From $125
A small, standard pickup — our minimum starting charge.
-
⅛ load
$150
A few bulky items or a small pile.
-
¼ load
$225
A single room’s worth of household items.
-
½ load
$400
A garage bay or a small basement.
-
¾ load
$550
A large garage, shed or attic.
-
Full load
$725
A full truck or trailer — most whole-house cleanouts start here.
Our $125 minimum is a starting charge for a small, standard pickup — not a single-item price. Some individual items, like pianos, large sectionals or extremely heavy pieces, are quoted separately because of their size, weight, labor or disposal requirements.
What changes the price, and what’s included
10% off for veterans and seniors, and curbside pickups may qualify for less.

FAQ
Junk removal in Northern Kentucky — your questions
Do you serve all of Northern Kentucky or just Covington?
All of Northern Kentucky, including Covington, Burlington, Florence, Erlanger, Independence, Newport and the towns around them. If you are not sure about your address, call and ask.
Is there an extra charge for coming to Kentucky?
Jobs farther from our Hamilton shop can include a travel fee. Northern Kentucky is about 40 to 45 minutes away. If a fee applies, it is in the quote you approve before we book.
My row house has no parking out front. Can you still do it?
Yes. We park where we can and carry items to the truck. A longer carry adds labor, so send a photo of the street along with the items and we will quote it accurately.
Can you clear a rental in Newport or Covington without me there?
Yes. Give us access instructions, we confirm the price by phone or text before we load, and we let you know when the unit is empty.
Northern Kentucky, let’s get it hauled.
Send a few photos and we’ll price it fast. If it’s easier, just call — a real person picks up.
